      Exposure to major projects & experts in different fields. Emphasis on personal development of staff. Pleasant working environment with lots of support from colleagues and management.

      Cons

      Salary is level with industry standard but slow to increase. Promotion procedure is arduous and slow. Under-appreciation of key staff.

      Only good for bridge and tunnel engineers in UK

      Pros

      Offers great opportunities to develop skills and deliver interesting work on bridge and tunnel projects in the areas of structural and geotechnical engineering. Salary not bad and benefits generally align with what the industry standard.

      Cons

      Other disciplines and engineering areas are secondary to bridges and tunnels, and don't offer much in the way of interesting projects or skills development. There is a layer of "middle men" in the company that are ineffective. Difficult to trust the management in the part of the business I was in. Too many examples of incompetence and dishonesty. Seemed out for themselves.
