      CSAA, you need to return back to California were your favoritism and nepotism is part of your culture.

      Pros

      In 2006, it was one of the best companies to work with at that time.

      Cons

      When CSAA came to Arizona, there were so many people wanting to work with this company and only the best were selected. We all really wanted to be part of the growth at CSAA but it changed. Nepotism is the cause for this company to fail. Employment and economic policies practicing favoritism toward one's family. Giving them favored employment positions to family members. One of the most common arguments against nepotism is that the emotional ties between people who are related may negatively affect their decision making abilities and professional growth. In the past, many businesses sought to avoid even the appearance of nepotism by forbidding relatives from working closely together. The MOST EXPERIENCES people, who were qualified for promotions were over looked.

      Pros

      CSAA used to have a member-driven focus and a solid commitment to serve the citizens of Northern California, Nevada, and Utah. This commitment was demonstrated by Senior Management and flowed all the way down to the front-line clerk handing out the maps. As such, employees knew that the customer came first and that CSAA played a historic part in the immergence of the automobile in the west.

      Cons

      Right now, CSAA's Senior Managment is dismantling CSAA by moving jobs out of state and by cutting jobs without having the technology in place to do the work. The focus now is cost-cutting; however, the cost-cutting is at the expense of everything that CSAA has stood for for more than 100 years..

      Pros

      Strong member focus, high integrity, strong employee community. AAA is a great brand with a strong tradition of providing peace of mind to members. A great place for people oriented people who want to make a difference for customers on something important.

      Cons

      Difficulty adapting to a changing world, ineffective leadership team. In transition from a top-down, hierarchical company to a more customer and employee focused company, but lacking some of the basic tool kit to make the transition quickly.
