Pros
Since joining CSC I've seen existing teams grow and new teams built from scratch across multiple hubs across the US and Canada
I've seen teammates flourish here and work towards director level roles and can say the same for myself
Real exposure and experience around what it takes to contribute towards bringing the company and brands to 500m with 1bn+ a reality in the foreseeable future has been a rewarding journey
Work closely with and learn from industry leaders with decades of experience from reputable brands, more direct line communication rather than multiple barriers
Speak and be heard; the team is open to feedback, ideas and processes - I've seen constant improvements and the opportunity to speak up and contribute is encouraged here
What takes years to get done if not written off completely at other co's get's done in half the time here, the teams are not afraid to take on challenging initiatives and goals
There is real opportunity to break from the norm, push the bar and try new approaches to drive revenue and growth and truly be part of that process
Many of the blockers you would face in other relative companies do not exist here. If autonomy, accountability and ownership is seen as an exciting opportunity to you, there is a path for you here
Joining this company there's more of a start up mentality than corporate, though we're still working on brands that are very well known, established and reach millions of users
Great people to work with on a professional and personal level. Very talented, smart and inspiring people to be around
Cons
It's not for everyone, you do have to be prepared to challenge and push yourself, so if you want a typical 9-5 this isn't the best fit for that mindset. It's important to understand that before deciding to work here for most departments but I can't speak for all. How you perceive it really depends on where you are in a career; the company ambitions and goals can be an exciting experience and opportunity for growth for the right individuals.
