The chance to work remotely, which provides some flexibility, I saw as a plus.

Cons

You will be expected to work 50+ hours a week to receive any profit-sharing. You won't receive any profit sharing if you don't hit your KPI's. You will immediately be overloaded with more work, in-house meetings, and client calls than you can reasonably manage. The owner of the business it quite a piece of work. You will see him more than you care to.

Diverse projects and a great way to learn the power of SEO and eCommerce

Cons

Seeing mom & pops who don't really need SEO just yet invest their savings into SEO and run out of business after SEO results don't return super quickly.
