CVS is controlled by money men; the corporate spiel they post on their social media and website is just that... the Values they supposedly live by are words on a website, never used, never referenced. If you are not clinical, you don't matter, you're expendable, you're allowed to be slated by those in practice, expected to just accept poor and sometimes abusive behaviours because you're 'just support office'. All initiatives, for example, CPD, Bonus, Leadership training to same a few, are all focused on those in practice, as a qualified professional in my own right and my own discipline I find this highly insulting that I and my colleagues aren't important enough to be awarded even a small CPD budget or even time off to attend CPD events.
Knee jerk constant changes without any explanation of the real 'WHY' for colleagues on the ground becomes relentless and confusing, all so the board can try to salvage the share price and their bonuses.
HR report to finance, the optics suggest that money means more than people at CVS and the reality is even worse.
Employee engagement is measured by eNPS, this is never reviewed or discussed at Senior leader level, its all about the numbers which begs the questions why do they even measure it and use it as a stick to beat local leaders with when they do nothing themselves to reflect and look at where they might need to do more.
