Pros

There is a lot of diversity in our workplace. There is a great employee dining room that always has something good to eat.

Cons

The pay, the benefits, the respect - all went down after Harrahs bought Caesars. As supervisors we have to have silly meetings with our employees where everyone has to play ridiculous games and act like children. Anyone who shows the slightest dislike for the activities is to be sent home at once. Anyone who doesn't smile CONSTANTLY must be reprimanded. That's right - you must smile at ALL times, even while you are sneezing or while a customer is screaming obscenities in your face. How can we retain our dignity when we have to play 'ring around the rosie' with a big fake smile on our faces? This is the most terrible employer I have ever worked for.

Good at the team level, but that's about it

Pros

Often good management at the team level, especially with direct supervisors/managers. Never had a problem with them, and in fact quite the opposite with my team in specific; they quickly approved vacation time and basically never had an issue with when it was taken, AND they were super communicative on what they needed from the team. Genuinely just a good experience with them.

Cons

The company at large is constantly cutting costs for some reason, which means you might see a cut in benefits, overtime opportunities, software usability (they downgraded their OCRM, in my opinion), and other areas as time keeps going on. It seems like they're looking for ANY excuse to get rid of higher earners that aren't C-suite or department heads. To be specific, they started going cheap on insurance (they switched to UMR/United) while they gave most of their C-suites bonuses of about 2x their salary at the end of 2024. Also, if you ever have to deal with anything/anyone at corporate OR above your direct management, expect to be stonewalled, nitpicked, and scrutinized to a high extent. Like I said, they're always cutting costs, so keep your head down or they might "reconsider" your employment.

disgusting unethical corporation

Pros

employee dining room, that's literally IT.

Cons

"responsible gaming" HA. working here you will see the saddest examples of gambling addiction at its worst and upper management does not care because it lines their pockets and is the reason they have a job. they also just do not care about workplace harassment, violence (i was physically assaulted by a guest and no one did anything), or employee well-being at all. HR is useless and incompetent and involves themselves more in non-HR related things than their own jobs. pay is awful. i would literally cry sometimes on my way to work and it got to the point where i had to quit without notice for my own sanity. i reported all of this to ethics and they did nothing, which isn't surprising. DO NOT WORK HERE.
