Pros

There are plenty of growth opportunities and the salary is the best in the entire western NC area.

Cons

Huge customer service emphasis which sometimes causes some customers abuse their privileges. Many "regular" customers treat employees very poorly and casino management will always support high rolling customers over an emotionally and verbally abused employee any day.

Pros

For the most part, lower level employees get along well and make the day fly by.

Cons

You are told you will get a fair shot to utilize the Harrah's brand. However, if you are a good employee looking for advancement in a different department or at a different location, expect to be black balled by your boss. Management never takes your side. You will be written up for the smallest thing.

Pros

The benefits and vacation policies are okay. They offer free food to employees if you don't mind jail food. They have lockers.

Cons

To the company, you are just a number. They believe that everyone is replaceable despite always being short staffed, and they treat you like you mean nothing. They don't even offer anything for holidays anymore, despite having to work them. Save pennies and spend dollars.
