Marketing great with non-existent products All the fake positive reviews

Cons

All promises no bonuses no RSUs CEO talks a big talk and execution poor. Strategy is now to layoff all engineers who built it and outsource. Rumors of running out of cash. Executive management is screwed up and CEO All lies . From good company where we cared for each other to just dispenseable people. Heart and soul lost Layoffs and more layoffs

Pros

Salary and benefits are generous. Most Individual contributors care and work hard. They do have some good technology and know how to sell.

Cons

No leadership! More importantly C staff will clean house every few years just to shake things up. What a great motivation tool, not! When push comes to shove Management will throw you under the bus to save themselves. The Best leaders were forced out a few years ago because they weren't yes men as with most of today's management. Don't be fooled by the dog and pony show as its all smoke and mirrors. Never have made money. Marketing is Questionable if they can compete with the Tier 1s

Pros

Good and interesting products, strong engineering talent (formerly) in U.S. and Nanjing. Proud to contribute to NGPON2 effort at leading edge of industry.

Cons

All SVP level management are utterly inept charlatans. Company has placed nearly all development effort with Infosys. Development management degenerated to finger pointing. A formerly great company sent to ruins by the worst management that I ever suffered. I left by my own choice while it still was my choice. The last 3 years were a nightmare of wasted intense effort and wasted life.
