A great company that went downhill

Pros

Very good group of employees (not management).

Cons

CEO is a tyrant, very his way or the highway mentality - a terrible personality trait to have when a non-technical person is running a technical company. Not a comfortable person to work with or talk with. Most of upper management are his 'buddies', through college, church, etc.

Pros

Training, and education opportunities. Opportunities for growth, and advancement. Culture is a high priority to management.

Cons

There are some growing pains, that I would say are comparable to any company of the same size.

Good culture among peers, leadership is lacking.

Pros

Small company culture among each small team. Employees enjoy eachother and work well together. Great product that is innovative and exciting to work with.

Cons

Top management is awkward. There is a growing feeling of coming under fire for things upper management truly does not understand. In an effort to cut costs employees are feeling dispensable rather than important.
