Pros

My department is very friendly and helpful

Cons

I can tell that a lot of other areas of the company are under a lot of stress and that seeps into my job and the people around me causing a degree of anxiety and unease have seen multiple people get badly burnt out and need to quit not long after starting.

Pros

Excellent marketing team to back me as a sales person. Great CRM technology. They invest in things that help you sell more and work more efficiently.

Cons

Some new leadership displays values/morals I’m not comfortable with or confident in being associated with. Business acumen is important to me. Extreme micromanagement. Some senior leadership does not value time effort and hard work. They always find the negative. As in you can work years to build a relationship and sell 40 things to client A in a day and rather than celebrating that, they ask why you did not sell 40 things in one day to client B. I know there are a lot of well intentioned leaders but they have take a back seat.

Pros

If you're looking to be left alone to just do your thing, great! Just make sure you hit those targets! This place remained open and fairly steady during the pandemic.

Cons

"If person X has a 50 sqft piece, and person Y has a 5 sqft piece, both with a 4 corner sink and requiring the same amount of work, who looks better?" They base your performance solely on how much sqft you push through the department and have no understanding of what it is you actually do. "What happened yesterday? Why were your numbers so low? ... That sounds like you're making excuses." Without any consideration to how many pieces you pushed through, nor how bad the CNC's tooling was that you had to painstakingly correct by hand. Don't do too good, or you'll never get to advance. Never say no, and never question authority.
