Pros

Environment was laid back and management let things go. Co-workers were great. Doesn't hurt to give the company a try.

Cons

Don't expect a raise tell you hit a year.

Unethical and Aggressive practices

Pros

Got to know a few good coworkers

Cons

My judgmental manager, who had a self described "aggressive leadership style" had no clue how to effectively manage people and took advantage of her employees to the fullest extent. She was also actively violating employment law by having her non-exempt employees respond to phone calls, emails, and text messages at home but not paying them for this time. There's a reason these positions have high turnover. Stay far away....

There are pros and there are cons. Definitely both.

Pros

High end, luxury product brings opportunities to work with very impressive clients and business partners. The flexibility with schedule is easy going, you can work as much or as little OT as you want (in the dept I was in anyways). There’s lots of great people. It’s a growing company and starting to get processes under control.

Cons

Lots of politics and favoritism based on your status and relation to other executives. There are people in very upper level executive positions who are extremely unqualified but are there because they have a relationship to “the family”. The procedures and processes are not thought out before rolled out. Priorities are in favor of whoever is the favorite at the moment. Everything is bottle necked and it takes a long time to get anything approved because the decisions are made by the top few, although there’s so much to get done. Some of the upper, white, men are egotistical and hot headed and get away with it because they’re all old friends. The company is growing rapidly but they are not prepared to handle it at this point.
