NO LOYALTY OR APPRECIATION

Pros

The money can be good.

Cons

All management above the store level are liars and they are taught to be that way from the very top. Tell you want you want to hear, mislead you and use you until it is no longer in their benifit, and then find a terrible excuse to cut ties. I had 7 different regional managers in less than 9 years. Close to 9 years with a company with no write ups or disciplinary action, and they let me go because some thiefs broke into our facility. No loyalty whatsoever. No appreciation. They do not care about their people, no matter how much they say they do.

Pros

Favorable hours if you can work weekends

Cons

Mismanaged, revolving door. Corporate needs to know about sexual context by management. alcholics, weed use duringbusiness hours by “top staff” bullying. Nothing is confidential. Indiscreet is a kind way to put the talking of other employees with peers. Gossip is spread by numerous employees in financial offices, floor staff, managers. Cussing out is common.

A Service Techs Experience

Pros

-Friendly staff from certain departments (Warranty, Service, Parts, Sales) -Some staff warn you about the turnover pattern they notice and the causes of it from my role

Cons

-Terrible/Condescending Management -Compensation Tricks (They start you hourly then force you to sign onto flat rate pay. This is like a pay cut(Worked hourly for 89 hours a Pay Period/flat rate compensated you for only 49 hours) because of the labor hours flat rate only allocated to you despite your hours worked! They guise it as a raise(hourly raise on flat rate) too but your take home pay is significantly reduced from hourly. -The management follows their corporate practice as quoted "switch techs over to flat rate from hourly and if they dont obtain an adequate flat rate matched closely to hours worked, they terminate them." Most employers would actually help their techs grow/develop so they can exceed their flat rate hours beyond their actually hours worked before switching them over. On top of that, their computer system would freeze making if difficult to constantly log your labor hours per job. (ie: off the clock when actually working a job due to computer inaccessibility)
