Pros

friendships, learned a lot about mortgages, sponsored NMLS license

Cons

overworked, underpaid, under appreciated, gaslighting that all work can be done in 40 hours, layoff people and then expect remaining employees to take on the jobs with no extra pay- also expected to be done in 40 hours along with already too heavy of a workload

Pros

Salary and benefits are okay

Cons

Want to be treated like garbage? Wish you could work 50+ hours a week and be shamed when you're sick? Tired of not working the whole time you're on vacation? Dreaming of working for a bunch of rich white dudes who only recognize men for doing well? Then CapCenter is the place for you. Seriously, don't work here. I only wish I had quit sooner.

Pros

There are lots of young people, which is for the most part a pro for someone who started not long after exiting college. Co workers at similar levels were often willing to help and could sympathize with heavy workload. Most of them have since been laid off.

Cons

Management is undertrained and promoted on the basis of proficiency in a previous role rather than potential for a future role. HR is toxic. Team transition is so rapid that it was frequent to not know who your direct report was. There was an understood lack of organizational communication as well. Company culture was unfortunate given the average age of the employees. And when rates started to go up, this friendly local mortgage lender that boasts about being a top workplace cut 40 employees, of whom many were confused who their manager was for the past few months. Big talk and no action on core values.
