      Pros

      Some nurses are very willing to teach and share all their knowledge and experiences.

      Cons

      Very "clique-ish" (including unit manager); either you're part of the gossip club or you're not treated well. The ones that are "well-liked" gets away with murder even if their actions are unprofessional or unsafe. Not the best learning environment for a new nurse

      Very much corporate minded. If you don't fit the stereotype they have, you are left out and nudged or kicked out.

      Pros

      CFV is a large, dynamic organization involved with numerous projects and new services all the time. If you're bored, you're not looking. The staff are great people who truly care about the healthcare the system delivers.

      Cons

      The organizational culture is no where near as good as it can be. Upper management prefers to rule by the stick (I'll fire you) than by the carrot (Here's a bonus). Unless you're in direct patient care and even though you may be an expert in your area, you're input is not as valued.
