Pros

- Product with potential - Team members who work hard to do the right thing for customers - Solid benefits, stock options, mental health days

Cons

- No strong leadership that understands what the teams are going through on a daily basis, lacking empathy, lacking support. - Lack of advanced/key features beyond core product. There have been a lot of ideas, but have not delivered - Culture is not good. Fully remote and lack of buy-in to provide opportunities to connect with colleagues. - Given fully remote, company doesn't do a good job of building chemistry, creating a fun work environment, feels like a continual grind. - Feels like board is driving a lot of the decisions around layoffs and changes without having an understanding of what the product and customer experience requires.

It's fine but not great

Pros

Competitive pay, remote capability, flexible paid time off

Cons

Would be nice to have better benefits for women and have more women in leadership roles. Culture is shifting in a negative way making it less of a community start-up feel. Management doesn't seem to care what employees think.

Thanks for your review. In a startup environment, it's not uncommon for employees' concerns not to be addressed right away. You are welcome to contact me directly if you feel your voice is not being heard. I will do my best to alleviate some of the issues you are seeing. Thanks!

It’s a madhouse

Pros

-lots of coworkers are good, hard-working people -unlimited PTO

Cons

There is zero oversight for managers, so you’re basically at the mercy of your boss. It’s obvious that favorites get played, that some employees are expected to do 2-3x as much as other people , if not more. The managers also aren’t experienced in the industry, they don’t know how to support with managing clients or having your back, clients don’t take them seriously. It feels like no one is in charge or at the helm of the department and that the people that are are just kinda using their position as a stepping stone to something else. It’s not the worst place to work, but it really feels like the wheels fell off long ago and the whole thing is going to just stop rolling one day
