Pros

Loved the people I worked with on my team and cross functionally. For a while we all felt like "owners" and worked hard to build amazing processes.

Cons

The company is moving to a profitability model which forces layoffs and loss of culture. I am hoping the company will be able to overcome their very clear hurdles and make it long term. Those that were left behind are now being asked to do more than their fair share. They are pushing people to work on weekends and prove their worth. The mentality from upper management is "what are we paying you for".

I love the culture here! My last job made a fuss about how difficult working remotely was, but our department has figured it out pretty nicely. Teams are very collaborative and communicative within and across departments. Management encourages the team to take PTO and doesn't expect any overtime or after hour responses from us. Taking this job has worked wonders for my mental health

Cons

It is a startup (depending on who you are that can be a pro or a con), so the benefits leave a bit to be desired (no 401k match) but they do have some great stipends for learning, office setup, etc. We have some processes established but are also changing things frequently, so you have to be flexible.
