Pros

- Startup culture where things move FAST and you're surrounded by super smart people that will push you to your best - Perks are nice with free lunches and great medical benefits - People here are nice and will help you out; everyone comes from impressive backgrounds and they're all willing to rollup their sleeves to help you grow - Location can't be beat; next to the Caltrain and Bart for easy access - Perfect for someone who is willing to learn / grow / develop very quickly

Cons

- Typical company infrastructure is still being built so expect to participate in "company building" things like the right Salesforce processes, requests for IT support, etc. - Sometimes things move too fast and you wish there was some time to think / reflect

Once a good company. Now very toxic.

Pros

Some of my colleagues were some of the nicest and smartest people I've ever worked with. I got a nice coffee mug.

Cons

The most stressful and negative professional experience I have ever had. The pressure applied on engineers by upper management, who are so far detached from what goes on from day to day, is extreme. There is a culture, intentional or otherwise, of making you fear losing your job, as if every day you have to fight for your survival in the company. More emphasis is placed on your mistakes than it is on your successes and what was once a pleasant and positive place to work, quickly turned nasty, with a small number of individuals being responsible. I had more damage done to my mental health in the time I was in CaptivateIQ than in all of the rest of my career combined, and I am not alone when I say this. The people responsible for causing this should be ashamed of themselves.
