Pros

The schedule and pay was ok. Team mates were helpful.

Cons

Managment had little sympathy or understanding of what they were doing. Processes changed consistantly and blamed employees for not being perfect. Was fired after only two warnings on the same issue. Instead of being trained or explained on what it was, I was fired. In the meeting I was told by both 'the decision was hard to make' and yet on the same day I recieved my termination letter and a notice saying im not eligible to reapply. Was utterly astonished by how they treat employees who cant fit their mold right away. I worked 3 years for them and yet all of it amounted to nothing. They didnt even give me a chance to go back to customer service which is where I had moved from. I should never have left...so much for wanting to make a difference.

Pros

Great company mission, mostly great coworkers. Benefits are decent, pay is good.

Cons

CEO is a joke. Transparency is not a word he is familiar with, and he continually has to apologize for insensitive and racially biased comments even though he himself is a BIPOC (actually said too many chiefs, not enough Indians in an all-staff meeting). He has no business running a business. Other practices like continually promoting people into leadership positions that truly are not qualified are turning this company into a place where people do not want to stay unless they've been there for a long time. Work/life balance - you've either got it or you don't. Some people skim by with little work to do, and many have so much work to do 50 hours a week isn't enough time in a week to get it done (see note about unqualified leadership; they don't know how to organize their teams to get work done properly). CareOregon is going through major layoffs right now, and they're just looking for reasons to fire and/or lay people off. Save yourself the time and look elsewhere. There are plenty of other organizations the amazing missions to dedicate yourself to.

Pros

Good benefits but not great. Yearly bonus.

Cons

Management will tell you anything until the company decides to let you go based on wages and how the company is doing financially. How can you be fired for doing the same job for 14 years and as soon as they give you an 18% pay raise and then let you go 5 months later after the all staff meeting shows the company losing money due to state and federal regulations. Unfair.
