CareSource Toxic Culture

Pros

CareSource’s Bonus program is good but not guaranteed.

Cons

Culture is horrible & continues to be more negative at CareSource. Employees feel new Sr Leadership (since our CEO left) are disconnected & not able to be trusted. With many of the new Sr Leaders not even having the experience required to lead the function & teams they were hired for!

Pros

Remote work. There were so many more pros for nurses, but the current leadership has taken them all away.

Cons

Something happened over the past year-year and a half in the utilization management department that turned a positive work environment into an utterly toxic thing that is resulting in mass resignations and many, many tears. Productivity expectations were suddenly quadrupled and held fast at a level that no one has been able to meet no matter how hard they work, despite middle management's attempts to advocate for the nurses - and now the disciplinary process has begun across the board with threats of firing all the hardest and most loyal workers who haven't jumped ship yet because they can't meet it. There is very poor communication from upper leadership to the front line, and upper leadership is not listening to the front line nor to middle management, but expecting everyone to work 7 days per week and longer and longer hours to meet deadlines as nurses continue to exit, but somehow without any overtime -so the team leads (salaried) are working long late hours every day. There is a very heavyhanded authoritarian bent to the current environment and it is painful. The CEO's approval ratings are as high as they are here because after he took over in 2018, there was a big campaign for employees to go onto Glassdoor and raise it. Despite that, the approval percentage is definitely falling now.

Pros

Great friendships made, used to be an ideal and moral based company

Cons

Where to start..... no trust, laying people off, give people raises that shouldn’t get them, all about money, bringing in all these big wigs and don’t care about the other employees. The CEO and senior management staff can’t be trusted.
