Pros

become a pro at really "knowing" coffee. There's more to coffee than just adding cream and sugar. Lots of opportunities to be individualized and create a specialty at work. The company promotes within mostly, its a great place to really gain customer service skills.

Cons

When working with a manager that really enjoys you working in the position your in, it's hard to get them to sign off for your advancement up the ladder.

Working with Coffee, Standardized Recipes, Mostly Friendly Customers, Service Focused Culture, Getting Tipped

Cons

Little to no development for advancement, poor training at store level (great corp aids), Shift Supervisors opening complaining about each other, High turnover, NO LUNCH BREAK and you work 8 hours, Being Scheduled 3 hour shift to fill business need but not employee desire.
