      Pros

      -Good benefits, but there is a 6 month grace period before they are effective. -The staff is usually laid back. -You can makes tips which increases hourly wage!

      Cons

      -Poor upper management -Corporate isn't in it for the company, they are in it for the money. -Bad communicating. -Bad ingredients. -Always trying to keep up with starbucks, causing quick promotions and chaos.

      Great Place to START out in management if you have very little management experience

      Pros

      There are a lot of locations, so finding one close to home is pretty easy. If you are lucky to have a good manager, you are treated with respect.

      Cons

      Long hours in management, very inconsistent communication from the support center, and unrealistic expectations for managers. Work life balance is extremely poor. This isn't the first place I have managed, but it's the first place I have experienced a huge disconnect between the support center and the field. Also, many DMs are hired from the outside and have very little knowledge in store operations.

      Pros

      Caribou Coffee offers its employee's and opportunity to wok a flexible schedule. You can drink coffee for free, you will meet lots of new people, and make new friends. This is a great job for students and mom's looking to makes extra money.

      Cons

      At times customers can be rude and cranky. Coffee drinkers like their coffee fresh and fast. The espresso bar is automated now and has taken away from the essence of a true espresso drink.
