      Pros

      Very friendly atmosphere, Good pay, Good benefits. - Health + Retirement. The transparency / visibility is high, no office politics Many IT projects are done internally (no outsourcing), which gives employees to learn and work on lot of new stuff! Manager, IT higher management and HR dept are very responsive to the requests. I see lot of good team work! Never have i once regretted taking full time opportunity at this place. PS: I work in IT department, so i cant speak about other deparments

      Occasional OverTime . Some traveling is required - depending on which team you belong

      Pros

      You can get a decent pay if you negotiate but forget about getting a good raise. Your loyalty to the chief can get you a promotion as long as you can suck up and you're heart is "in the right place". This is a good place to work if you have good back scratching skills and making the yellow colored beverage popular in the summer and don't mind staying in your cubicle from 8 to 5 doing or showing busy work.

      To all you fellow former employees who have been let go, retired or found greener pastures, rejoice. Grass is always greener on our side. To all potential job seekers who have stumbled on this review, run as far away from this organization. To all you current employees, if you stay long enough and keep saying the right words to the chief you too can get promoted!

      Pros

      Carmeuse North America provides its employees with a very generous benefits package including an HSA option that has a nice employer contribution, really good vacation policy, and competitive salary. For me, I think the best thing about working for Carmeuse is the company's commitment to their employees. Carmeuse focuses on employee training and development, and encourages each of their employees to drive their own development. This summer, we were even given the opportunity to participate in a pilot program for an Alternative Work Schedule, showing their commitment to focus on promoting a work/life balance.

      Cons

      The organization is like most other organizations, a little on the lean side.
