Pros

Team oriented work with opportunity to create new processes for yourself and your team.

Cons

Removed from providing and leading marketing initiatives. Purely a project management role. Many internal meetings with information duplicated across meetings. High level of oversight from management with an unnecessary emphasis on following procedure, which is often changing.

Pros

Carnegie Dartlet is one of the most forward-thinking and family-oriented companies I've ever been a part of. First and foremost, this is truly a people-first company, thanks to the mission, vision, and values of CEO, Joe Moore, who has led it for over 30 years. In higher education, there is no other organization quite like this one, and it's why the company remains a frontrunner decade after decade. I've worked with and for many leaders throughout my career, but no other person has shaped me more personally and professionally than Joe Moore. He is a man of vision, integrity, compassion, resolve, and a deep and genuine concern for everybody around him. I have witnessed unbelievable generosity from Joe first-hand toward staff across all layers of the organization more times than I can count. It's truly remarkable. Anybody--and I mean anybody--can walk into Joe's office for any reason whatsoever, and Joe will earnestly and genuinely listen, invest, and care. He has single-handedly created and nurtured countless careers for dozens and dozens of people since the company's inception, and it's the same today. I sincerely trust the man with my life. Carnegie Dartlet has a vision for the future that is truly unparalleled, and the credit for this reality goes first to its CEO and management team. It is my intention to finish my career at this company.

Cons

Carnegie Dartlet's primary weakness at the moment centers around its constant growth, which represents a need for continual scale. This requires new staff across all departments on a regular basis, and with that requirement comes perpetual training needs. Scale is difficult, and I'm sure staff can feel this friction at times. Also, many staff work remotely, so the company has to work hard to maintain connectedness for all staff whether they're in Westford or not. This is a unique challenge.
