Building your tool box. This job will help you obtain all the skills you need to start your own successful business. They will train you like a razor sharp knife on all BDMS (business development manager/ sales) aspects including CRM.
Cons
Payment structure is a loan with accruing interest for the company. (the reservation cancels they keep the penalty of the reservation *which can be the deposit 25% of the total or 50% or 75% of the total payment) But you get 0 and a negative! Ill explain below. If your reservation cancels you lose all payment for it and the tier you achieved is in jeopardy which can cost you $250+ and even lose your job. So for example if you are at 50 bookings (sales) for the current month and you have a cancellation in the month you are at 49 bookings. The tier is for example 50 which bumps your pay from $25 a reservation to $29 a reservation you lose the bump up which, in this case is $200 plus the amount you are currently in for the booking. If you're getting paid at $59 a booking you lose the $59 and any additional bonus like upset and insurance. If you sold that booking when you were in a tier of $29 a booking you're losing an extra $30 +++.... its a huge loan in reverse for the employee but, a payday for the bottom line of the company.... Yet the company talks about always putting the employee first and family first. Listen dont be blinded by the negative review go there and see yourself. Expected to go ABOVEEEE and beyond hitting 100% of your quota is never enough. You will do time wasting jobs like customer service for the customer service department. Instead of prospecting your leads.. Then you will be asked why you didn't dial more. It's a double edged sword because if you service you can build rapport...which, can lead to a sale.. However, if you want to do a sales call and rush the customer you lose out on a rapport building phone call and get a bad customer service review. You will be micro managed and reprimanded if you don't come to work on weekends... the management randomly throws out weekends to work because the sale closes however they extend it until the follow day... If you work later hours you have a chance to get on an inbound line and get free leads which you can convert to sales easier than someone who works the normal hours. They speak highly of the agents who always stay late and convert after hours. The awards get cheaper every year no matter how much revenue you produce. The office is dirty and air vents full of dust. You no longer have to wear professional attire but they expect professionalism. People come to work in sandals with toes out and tank tops and jerseys on. Don't expect to be treated like a Business developer even though they preach this is your own business. They offer 0 to 1 sales motivation training they offer 100 sales demoralizing meetings per month though..... They sell you benefits that work for management in a very eager way and have all management at meetings to make sure they can see if you disagree and then have a private meeting that goes no where.
