Pros

Carnival has a pretty diverse and fun culture, does not lay off employees often, and provides decent benefits.

Cons

Compared with its competitors, such as Royal Caribbean, Carnival only provides very limited benefits and does not even offer newly hired lower level employees the opportunity to take a cruise to understand the business.

Pros

Training was in depth and informative. I enjoyed my coworkers and the trainers made the information fun. The benefits were good.

Cons

The work hours, lack of any real “off phone time”, phone adhearance issues, azure connection issues, carnival websites going down weekly, being stuck in queue for hours after your shift for last minute callers, being talked to rudely, leads not wanting to take over the escalted calls, no discretion to fix anything monetary for the guests, employee pay and the ability to actually get vacation approved timely. This job has potential if things were different, but right now its not worth the headache.

Pros

Benefits, fully remote, can earn high commission

Cons

Know that this is a telemarketing sales job. Even if you are booking well over your monthly goal in cruises you are required to make 100 or more dials a day. If you are someone who values separation from work and home life this is not the job for you. This job never turns off. Management uses high pressure manipulation tactics to make employees work Saturdays and Sundays. Overtime is not paid. Very high turnover
