Pros

The tech team is very competent. Modern tech stack and resources. The CTO is a smart guy with previous success in other startups.

Cons

The CPO is a doofus. He needs to be expelled immediately. He's shockingly incompetent, a bad actor that only cares about his own personal gain, and in general doesn't know the difference between "their", "there" and "they're". He's destroying the company.

Free snacks and some free lunches.

Cons

A lot of empty promises for career advancement in a startup were made getting you to work hard for low pay. This lead to a lot of unhappy employees when fair-market pay was not actually ever an option. Probably best to avoid.

location is nice, some people are smart, benefits are fine

Cons

pay is a joke, you're supposed to be so happy that you don't care about money, but you live in SB and can't afford to do anything while the execs spend all the burn on business trips its too political and the cto is creepy. need to create boundaries and be aware of rampant favoritism
