Not Happy at this Company

Pros

I got hired, but thought this was a much better place than this.

Cons

Bad attitudes in the office. Very unprofessional managers. They don't listen to any ideas other than their own.

Pros

If I HAD to pick a few it would be decent vacation time and a 40 hour work week.

Cons

Where to begin, I can start with a quick story to let you know how this place operates. I had a customer straight up scream and threaten to fight me because I didn't grab his order quick enough, instead of getting into a fight at work I figured the manager or the company would take my side. It was brushed aside like nothing. Mind you this wasn't a big million dollar account this was some one man band who buys maybe 5 things a year from us. You will be overworked and underpaid, undertrained, and for some reason corporate has moronic ideas to add even more stuff to your already large workload. Carrier took on 10B in debt to split off, nothing is more expensive than labor so they are trying to make things work with the smallest possible crew. There's a reason everyone at every branch is miserable. The ONLY reason I'm still here is because of COVID, the market is tough right now but as soon as things bounce back I'll be gone and will never look back. People who have been there a long time (over 5 and 10 years) have said it's gotten far worse in the last few years (right around the time Carrier split off, coincidence?) so don't bother starting here unless you're just looking for a paycheck until you land something else.
