      Pros

      Benefits, on going training, and upper management. There is so much opportunity for growth although it can be stressful. The company invests in constant training for new processes and programs.

      Cons

      Pay, workload, cts metric. Great company but they are still figuring out a lot of processes which creates a greater workload for the store level employees. Salary should be more for the work you do.

      Pros

      Carter's has some of the best employees that I have ever worked with. I could always count on smiling faces everyday. I was always treated with respect and felt proud to call myself an employee of Carter's. What you read in the Cons will have no bearing on my feelings for Carter's. I will always have a special place in my heart for this company.

      Cons

      Carter's has grown so fast that they have/are struggling with a lot of corporate growing pains. Carter's wants to be a "big corporation" but still at times play by the "good ole boy" rules. This all depends on who you are and your position.

      The best retail job I've ever had, but upper management is lacking.

      Pros

      We get a ton of business at our store and tend to get good feedback from customers. My manager and assistant managers are great, they are understanding and flexible. There hasn't been a high rate of turnover, so everyone has been working there forever and we are all pretty close.

      Cons

      Upper management (district and above) is fairly disorganized and inconsistent. Our district manager has changed several times in the 2 years I've worked here, and it's not always great getting the blowback from the company's drama.
