      Really awful place to work

      Pros

      It is a good place to get experience right out of college. But other than that it really does not have many pros.

      Cons

      You are micro-managed by management that does not trust you at all. You work 10-12 hour days and are not compensated properly for gas.

      Cbeyond is a great first job right out of school

      Pros

      The culture is ideal for someone right out of school. Everyone is young and fun. You learn a lot of basic sales techniques really quickly.

      Cons

      The turn over rate is around 80% because the activity level is rediculously high. Territories have been ran through over and over and reps are calling on the same people...has a lot of people really pissed off.

      Tough But Rewarding

      Pros

      The work is hard, but it is well rewarded. I've been at the company for four years now, and I can honestly say that the opportunities for promotion are as good as I have ever seen anywhere. This is probably not the place for you if you want to coast and get paid for it. But if you want to work hard, learn a sales model that really works and be well rewarded for following it, this is the place to be.

      Cons

      There is no doubt that you are micromanaged for the first several months, but this is just because you are learning the system. As you pass the six month mark, you get more and more freedom.
