      Pros

      The hospital has one of the best reputations in the nations. The committment to quality patient care is visible every day in the way they do business. The benefits package is very complete, especially Health Care, Pension Plan, and 401(k) matching. Working for a good manager allows one to excel and shine as each unit is able to be unique in the way that things are run.

      Cons

      The political environment can be cut-throat as co-workers seek to receive promotions, rewards, recognition, and advancements. Since CSMC is an employer of choice, many do not seek to leave to advance their career.

      Pros

      Leading Medical Center, a progressive organization involved in a wide variety of medical services and research oriented. Recognition of good work both in spoken word and fair salary increases. Excellent management control over expenses, yet not overbearing or unreasonable in financially funding of specific operations deemed to provide excellent care to patients. Well planned monthly management staff meetings to include all those from supervisors on up to senior management.

      A lack of intra and interdepartmental communications needed to improve overall operations.
