This is a company that truly walks the talk. Celanese lives the values of their culture in the following order of priority: People - Work Processes - Business Performance.

Cons

Ever changing corporate structure and the movement of personnel across the country to facilitate corporate goals. To be successful working here, you need to commit to being transferred to different sites and cities across the US.

Pros

In my time at Celanese I have been able to grow with the company, and see myself as more and more of not an employee of Celanese, but as a family member of a much larger extended family. As with any large company there are political games to play, things you need to know to do or not to do. However overall it is a great environment to grow, as long as you are persistent and motivated enough to do so.

Cons

Internal onboarding could use some work, however there are plans to work on this and improve this soon. Benefits could be matched better for some specific and more unique jobs, again something the company is aware of and are working on.

Good people, innovation oriented, the new CEO has still a lot to do to change the culture based on Mormonism

Cons

If you are not a Mormon, you will see your Mormon colleagues get rapid promotions after little time spent on the job. There was a culture based on threatening employee but the new CEO is changing this
