There is definitely more attention to the employee in Celanese, that in the other shared service centers of the city. Given the relatively small size of the corporation, a lot of visibility is immediately given to the employee. Training is well scheduled, especially the one involving SAP and workflow processess. The management is very available and open door policy is common

Cons

Being a shared service center, the positions can quickly become boring due to their very nature, however daily personal contact with the saleforce and colleagues abroad eases the pain. There is no chance of working from home, for any reason.

They are a former employer. That is the best I can say. Compensation was/is just average.

Cons

Throw you into the fire. Most of the people at the Bishop Plant have been there less than 3 years.

Good people, good location, good work/life balance

Cons

Reactive management, constant change but disruptive change not good change, will not remain competitive at the rate they are going, they lose all their good people because they can't make any progress, record earnings and stock price still drops, solution is always to cut people and admin budgets vs fix the real issues in the company, company stuck in the same pattern and won't get rid of its long standing barriers ( let good relevant talent go)
