Pros

Good opportunity to move up if you work hard and stay focussed. Committed to growing the business through development of new products. Ideas are listend to no matter where they come from, and will become projects if the business justification can be made. Focussed on customer satisfaction. Accomplishments are rewarded. The company has an intensive safety program, safety is a priority.

Cons

Like many companies, business is down right now so the future in somewhat uncertain. Still there seems to be committment to corporate values. Resources are diminished to cut costs, but development demands are as aggressive or more aggressive than before.

Pros

Salary is something that could attract people to go and work for this company

Cons

Transparency and realistic planing into the future will be a big thing to handle. The firm has too much debt which could question their long term sustainability. They sell their China Growth story too much.

Pros

Celanese gives employees the opportunity to test their ideas. They are given responsibility if they can prove they're up for the challenge. Celanese also provides great compensation and benefits. Management has also shown a strong commitment and desire to improve performance. Finally, Celanese provides employees with the opportunity to work globally.

Cons

One of the downsides for working at Celanese include their tactical focus. At times there seems to be an emphasis on fighting the fire immediately, instead of resolving the long term issues that keep starting the fires. Additionally, Celanese' ill defined supply chain processes can lead to confusion, and result in issues within the various business'.
