Cons

Limited career advancement opportunities in some departments and locations. Employee base growing more China and Asia than in the US.

Pros

Pay is good. Benefits are decent. For the right people, exposure to sr. management can be very high, along with the opportunity for advancement. If you get the right manager, respect for family commitments can be high.

Cons

Primary tools for motivation appear to greed and fear. Talented people are paid well, but at the expense of always having to worry about losing their job if things don't work out. Culture is built around individual achievement rather than team achievement.

Pros

I heard the technical training and process safety overviews were excellent. Most people when they talked were very smart. Benefits seemed better than average.

Cons

Not clear in overall job direction. Only received one formal review in three years. While we said we were following the rules, we were actually doing something else.
