Pros

You are able to make your own schedule. There is no management daily in stores so you are free to do whatever you please during your shift.

Cons

Pay check is never the same! You only get paid once a month and you never know what kind of "deductions" will be taken out. With every 100% commission job you are required to return commission if the sale does not stick. Not only does this company do just that, but you will be charged for the equipment loss as well. At times you could owe double the commission you made on the original sale. Everything is a sales pitch. From career advancements to explainations of commission cuts. Being knowledgeable of market changes and trends is the only way to know the truth about why your commission just got cut by 33% and if you didn't sign the new compensation structure form you will lose your job.

Pros

I met some cool people at this sh#tty job. Btw all of them already quit or about to quit and sue cellular sales for not paying overtime and not giving them breaks to eat lunch.

Cons

1 - liars, this company CSOKI, is straight up liars, they lie to employees, giving false promises and showing off the reps who make 5-6-10 k a month, which is less that 1% of all the employees, what they dont show you is 90% of those who barely make $2000 a month working for them. They lie to customers to make a sale. 2 - they make you wear shirt, tie, polished shoes and will make you shave off your beard of they dont like it the way it looks. They make you think you work for a VIP luxury company, that you got a job of your dreams. They will be b$tching at you for small things like your tie is not tied up perfect, make you button up and give you lot of hard time for things that other companies won't even pay attention to. And again, that's just to make it seems like this job is somewhat important and is your dream job. They are very demanding when it comes to ask from you, from their employees, but they dont give a dan when it comes to their responsibilities for their employees. They just dont give a dan about you. 3 - training will be boring and time consuming. A mot of stupi games and a lot of hypocrisy. They will show you 5-10 reps who made 5 -7 k a month. But they won't show you thousands of those who live in poverty working for CSOKi. 4 - no paid time off. Absolutely. As a matter a fact, if you take a week off, and dont make enough commission to cover your hours, you will owe them the remaining balance from your next commission check. For instance. You supposed to make around $2200 to cover your hours, they pay around $12 per hour. For example you didnt make $2200 in a month, you made only $1500 in commission, so next month when u actually will make commission, they will subtract $700 from your commission check. Yes, I said it. You will actually owe them money, ridiculous, isn't it? Wait, it gets better. 5 - the number of interviews to get this shady and underpaid job is 4. Yes, you will have to pass 4 interviews, to get this job. They make it look like you get best of the best jobs available. They will lie a lot. They will even pay you money if you bring someone to work for them. That's how bad it is, people constantly leaving this job, or they simply fire their employees, if you didnt make enough commission. After 4 interviews and getting like 5 references for them seems like a spit in your face, isn't it? But that's how this company operates.. 6 - no lunch for you. You wanna get lunch? You lose your turn and you become last one to get a customer. Also if you get a lunch you get unshared from others people sales. Hard to explain, but they have a complicated system of shared commission, just so it's harder for you to calculate how much they stole from your commission. 7 - somebody stole a device at the store ? Guess what, you will pay for it. Somebody stole an iphone case? You will pay for it. You will pay for everything that gets lost, misplaced, not delivered, lost on it's way. You will get charged for everything. You are liable for everything. They are not. Prepare to pay out of hour own pocket if smth gets lost or stolen at your store. 8 - your shift starts at 9:30, you arrived at 9:23, logged in to their clock system and it was taking to long to check in? You checked in exactly at 9:30, you are late bro. Its ridiculous. But you were supposed to check in before 9:30. Right on time is late. You got a point. 9 - you get a point for bot shaving your beard right, get a point for having one button off on your shirt, your tie is not tied up ? You got a point. You are late for 1 minute? Get a point. You dont cost a dam thing to a company, that's why they can replace you In a second. 10 - make 50 cold calls a day to attract customers. 11 - work overtime hours without getting paid 12 - you will have mandatory meetings that you will not be paid for. They could be at 10 pm and finish at midnight or they could make it at 7 am just to tell you that "your sales technique s@cks". No coffee no donuts. They are greedy. They won't treat you. Oh wait, are u late for the mandatory meeting at 7 am? You just got a point 13 - driving to different stores without any gas or mileage reimbursement. Seriously. Sometimes it seems to me that someone needs to remind cellular sales management about the fact that slavery is no longer active in the usa .. 14 - hypocrisy in group chats, when they will be tagging those rare lucky people who made some money, tagging them @mrluckyguytoday - hey shout out to him, he made $200 today. So, those who didnt make a dime today, you just s@ck.. 15 - you owe the company the hours they pay you. If your dont make $2200 in commission, next month theh will charge you from your own commission check. 16 - honestly, there are so many disadvantages of being a slave of this company. Cant tell you all. Just stay aware from them, currently I'm looking for any other job to quit this slavery cellular sales circus.

Pros

Fun training, nice employees, no micromanagement

Cons

They lie to you about the nature of employment. They work you up over how much money you're going to make and how great the company is, but what they don't tell you is that they hire en masse because of the extremely high employee turnover rates. They expect a lot of people to quit or get fired for one reason or another (such as poor performance or stress from the job) and hire a lot of people as potential replacements. I got fired in training for some bogus reasons when in truth my district was full so they decided they didn't need me and culled me. I quit my other job, sunk money into going to training, and staked my future on this job only to be cast aside like a broken tool. Don't fall for their pretty lies. Avoid this place!!
