Pros

After working long enough you can finally have an okay schedule with better work life balance. And they pay higher than other commission jobs.

Cons

They hire incredibly fake people, you only get commission if you make more than enough to cover the hours you've worked, they don't listen to their employees complaints or suggestions. The force of superficial optimism is disgusting and after working here long enough you can see right through it to the slimy underbelly of sales. They preach you are helping the customer, but then push you to sell one brand of Android and the crappy Chinese tablets and punish you if you sell an iPhone or Samsung by barely paying you and lowering your overall commission score. The job is a lie and a joke. Not to mention if you want the "Healthcare benefits" they offer, be ready to fork over $280+ per month just to cover the basics. This job also feels like working in a bizarre pyramid scheme where everyone you're working with is an optimistic robot with a fake smile taped on. You're also forced to give out your PERSONAL phone number out to any customer who wants it which opens the women who work here up to all sorts of sexual harassment, and to everyone who works here constant harassment about why their stuff isn't working. And they don't provide work phones or numbers despite being a cell phone company which would automatically help since we wouldn't have to give our personal numbers out. There is also a ridiculous amount of bullying and harassment by other coworkers to basically push other employees out who they dont like. So basically pushing people out who have morals or ethics and don't enjoy being shady salespeople. There is also a HUGE lack of diversity within the company. I also frequently see salespeople lying to disabled people or elderly people to get a sale out the door since these people often don't know what they're signing up for and that they can't get out of it. It makes me sick. The sexism is rampant as well, as is the gossip. It feels like middle school in here and it's always shocking to learn that your bratty coworkers are in their 30s and still behaving like hormonal 14 year Olds. This job is truly horrifying, and no one seems to do a damn thing. The only thing that you'll see happen is the company comment underneath this saying they're sorry I had a bad experience but my review isn't a typical review of this job. CORPORATE: use your eyes and look at all these negative ratings. They are ALL the same and you're doing absolutely nothing to change anything. Get it together.

Pros

cool co workers, choose your own schedule if you do well. This job gave me the sales experience to take to a better company.

Cons

You’ll never move up because there’s no growth, the store leads take their jobs too serious and want to run the stores like adult daycare centers, most of the people aren’t really making more than $2000 a month, you get stuck after hours a lot (god forbid you’re late though) , they’ll hire any moron with a pulse so if you know what you’re doing you’ll spend half your shift answering questions from new people, upper management are some sketchy individuals, 7am meetings that they don’t pay you for, retail sales is dying, Verizon is closing many corporate locations that way they can just pawn all customer service onto retailers (not fun when you’re 100% commission aka DEPENDENT ON SALES), business model is outdated. if you’re a white male you’ll get away with anything here such as stealing trade in phones, pulling knives on other individuals on company trips...they’ll just sweep it under the rug. if you’re anyone else enjoy getting canned for some unheard of reason.

Pros

They gave us breakfast once, cool! That’s pretty much it.

Cons

Omg here we go..are you ready? I don’t usually write bad reviews of my previous jobs but this place is full of themselves. #1) The pay 100% commission is not realistic. Hey some people make money here but they’re managers. #2)Call center every Wednesday. Know what’s a fast way to make a employee freak out and lose they’re minds is being forced to cold call leads. #3)TRAINING WAS A JOKE. OMG I feel stupid even falling for this. You get paid $10.88 a hour but basically unless you beat the drawl which is hard enough when they’re as 4 people selling in the same room. #4) the top managers will screw you over so much it ain’t even funny they act like your friends, but talk badly behind you’re backs. #5) I never got paid my last check when I quit. Guess they took my money and laughed basically free labor for a half month for them.
