Pros

Cellular Sales is a job that provides a lot of schedule flexibility and even lets you determine to a certain extent where and what hours you work. This job really shows that hard work does pay off. With uncapped commissions, and tons of bonus opportunities, Cellular Sales gives you the chance to earn a very good amount of money each year. If you invest your time and energy into being great here, you will be rewarded with an rewarding career, and incredible pay.

Cons

Some of the usual sales job downsides apply to Cellular Sales. It can be hard to take a day off sometimes because you feel like you are missing out on the action. In addition, the 100% commission can be a little intimidating at first.

Pros

Very few. This company relies on deception, both at the employee and consumer level, to be successful.

Cons

Where does one start?!? First and foremost, if a potential customer is either upgrading his phone or coming over to Verizon from another carrier, DO NOT do so at a Cellular Sales franchise! These charlatans charge you an UNNECESSARY and RIDICULOUS extra -- yes, EXTRA -- $35-50 fee (depending on how unscrupulous they are -and- how gullible they think you may be) to "transfer your contacts, photos, ect", when in reality, ANYONE can do this on their own...EASILY! Why does Cellular Sales dupe the general public like this? So thast YOU, the consumer, can pay their workforce! Yet these jerk-offs still keep a full 50% of whatever fee they extract from the uneducated consumer! It is hucksterism at its finest...please do NOT fall for their unethical and disgusting business plan...one that deceives and rips off the consumer under the guise of "helping" you with data transfer. Additionally, the reps will identify uneducated (usually older) customers, preying on them by selling outdated and VERY older-model phones ONLY BECAUSE the commission for the employee is drastically higher than if he sells you a current model i-Phone or Android. Believe me, Cellular Sales employees SALIVATE when a person over the age of 50 or so walks through the door. You can GUARANTEE that anyone over that age will be the subject of a "great offer", which in fact will be a 2-4-year old model phone that is no longer relevant, but will earn the Cellular Sales shyster a BIG commission. These people are THE MOST unscrupulous liars you will ever interact with in a "legitimate" place of business. STAY AWAY!!!

Pros

Working for Cellular Sales Verizon is an amazing career opportunity. I have been with them for several months now and the culture here is very competitive and supportive at the same time. Leadership roles are everywhere and the opportunity for advancement is within reach if you apply yourself. People aren't just customers here, they're clients. People whom you build a relationship with then become your clients if you choose. This career can not only pay off in the front end with commissions from hard work, but residual clients and referrals to their family and friends come in handy when you truly take care of someone's needs. The hardest part of working for Cellular Sales is making sure that you don't see this as a job, but as a career. Investing proper amounts of time towards becoming better as a representative and as a person is key. Do not rely solely upon someone walking in the door, reaching out to people to create more traffic in the store can help you significantly. The most enjoyable part about this career is not only the ability to make an uncapped income, but the great people that you work alongside of. The leaders here as well as the recruitment team make sure to bring in the right people for the job. If you apply yourself and take care of the client, there will be no issue in making a great steady income!!

Cons

None if you do the right thing
