Pros

The best way I can explain why I love work for Kindred is that I am able to make a difference in someone's day. It may be one thing I do or say that brightens they day up. Just by being in a clients home make the whole day better knowing that I just help someone that wasn't able to help themselves. And kindred makes sure that there employees are comfortable, safe and always no matter what employees are not treated badly.

Cons

Some of the downsides you don't get much time to your own life depending on your hours. (holidays, Birthdays, special days) unless two week in advance ask off. But only state holidays get paid time and half. You don't have very much management interaction which I wish there was more of.

The company is well structured and responsive to market needs. Great specialty programs. There are many opportunities for education as well as advancement.

Cons

Individual branch practices, particularly program launch/execution can be inconsistent, and the work culture can often be dictated by the individual branch, rather than the company culture. Management positions are often vacant for long periods of time, decreasing the availability of support for middle management and field staff.
