Pros

Excellent place to learn about behavioral health and substance abuse practices. Staff are friendly. Vacation time (if you are able to take off). Use this place to obtain knowledge and then move on to better organizations.

Cons

Poor leadership and management. Poor morale and constantly understaffed due to high turn over. Just look on Indeed for all the vacant position as evidence. Centerstone of Florida has an extremely poor reputation within the community. I'm surprised they haven't had their license revoked as well. They treat employees like they are disposable. It is sad, but there is no loyalty and most employees feel they are always about to get fired. Running an organization with fear tactics is not advisable. The organization went downhill after the affiliation with Centerstone. Since then, there has been more disconnect and disorganization.

Pros

Good learning experience and good online training opportunities.

Cons

Extremely high caseloads (100-350 clients per clinician). Very low pay for the amount of work done. Often worked more than 40 hours per week to get documentation completed. Productivity is not easily achieved. VERY high no show and cancellation rates.
