I've been working for Central for the past 10 years and it is hard for me to imagine working for any other company. ON my first day, my Supervisor outlined the company values of Integrity, Relationships and Excellence. At the time I thought the mission statement sounded nice but I didn't realize that this would be a common theme and thread in every event and interaction at Central. Central has a focus on relationships, both internally and externally. They routinely show they value each employee with frequent performance appraisals, employee recognition and the ability to make a large company feel like a small family. The employees at Central work as a team to assist each other and I've developed many life long friendships. It is common for employees to retire with 30+ years of experience. Central handles claims with integrity and responsibility. I often explain to our Insureds and Agents that I am personally a Central insured because we treat people the way we want to be treated. The morale is upbeat and positive, even on the most stressful days after a catastrophe.
