Pros

Some very good and talented people on the Therapy side.

Cons

CentralReach invested in education platforms about two and a half years ago. In that time, the education department has had three different managers (with the current being the low point) and an absolute decline in culture and morale. They continually lay off employees with no warning and reason. They have laid off employees who were in their roles for 3 months and 5 months, never being given a real chance to succeed; they have laid off their top sales performer for the past three years; they have laid off employees who simply expressed concerns with the return to office policy and who questioned the idea of shifting to a more "in person" sales approach. I'm sure they will respond to this by saying personnel decisions like this are difficult, but that is hard to believe when they seemingly happen at random and every month. Those of us still on the team are left confused, directionless, and feeling no stability in our jobs. It is an awful culture to walk into everyday, and one that has no active plan on improving anytime soon. If you feel the need to apply, have a backup plan both before and after being hired.

Pros

Hybrid, Pay, Some travel. Excellent work/life balance.

Cons

Onboarding was a joke. They give you death by PDFs to learn the products and "figure it out on your own". I desperately would ask my manager for help or clarification. They said they would get back to me on all of it, then never would. On remote days, manager would take hours to reply back. Communication is off. There are favorites. It was very cliquey. HR is also NOT your friend here- remember they are there to protect the COMPANY. It's a corporate job- HR does not care about you. Remember that!

Pros

The people here are wonderful.

Cons

The leadership team saw they could save money by moving us from Slack to Teams. I'm sure this looks great on a financial statement but in practice this transition has been a disaster. Slack was not just a messaging platform for us. Slack held crucial information going back a decade, a portion of which cannot be migrated over to Teams. This vendor who said they'd move stuff obviously overpromised and underdelivered. Since moving to teams all of our jobs have gotten harder. Slack was a core part of this companys cultural identity and it was ripped away to save a couple bucks while it was replaced with an inferior platform. A lot of people across departments feel this way but nobody wants to speak up because the job market is what it is. I am challenging leadership to send out a company wide anonymous survey on this topic. Central Reach has no problem sending out surveys when an award is on the line. I want to see the same thing here.

Hi There. As a follow up to the email our COO sent late yesterday, I wanted to acknowledge your frustration and apologize for any disruption the transition from Slack to Teams has caused you and the rest of the CentralReach team. The intent behind the transition was to improve collaboration and streamline communication under one integrated platform. As you are aware, we are working to resolve any outstanding issues and I encourage you to speak with your manager or our COO directly about any missing data that is impacting your productivity during the day.
