We agree that we have a great team of dedicated and caring individuals, but find it disheartening to hear about the perceived lack of trust in senior leadership, disjointed messaging, and your overall experience. Our leadership team makes a consistent effort to communicate the direction of our products and company during both our monthly company meetings as well as individual team meetings held throughout the month. As a former employee, we can only hope that you had worked with your manager to talk through work/life balance and any personnel decisions that were made. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. I’m sorry you feel that way. As we’ve grown from 80 to 400 employees, we’ve had to adapt and change. How a company operates as a startup won’t usually work for a 400-person company, but what has remained steadfast has been our values. We do care about our employees and the mission we are on to support the autism and IDD community and those that serve them. We wish you the best of luck in your next endeavor.

Pros

There are great people at this company who really want and try to make a difference.

Cons

1. There is a disconnect between management/ownership interests and the interests of the mission. 2. Industry experience is not leveraged in the decision-making process for the product. 3. In my experience, intellectual curiosity, deep understanding of the product and clients’ needs, and visionary thinking are not rewarded. You build what sells today, not tomorrow. 4. External appearance matters more than internal appearance.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. While we understand your feelings toward a disconnect, all of the components you mentioned do play a critical role in how we support our mission. Our products have been and continue to be developed based on the needs of our clients thanks to the experienced, innovative, and mission-driven team we have here at CR. We’re proud of the impact our work has made in this industry and the growth of our business is indicative of that success. We appreciate the contributions you’ve made while you were with us and wish you the best in the future.
