Pros

Company is about helping kids with Autism, which is a great cause! You can also wear jeans or shorts to work and bring your dog!

Cons

VP is not collaborative and will tell you "I don't want to hear what you have to say" which really demotivates you to want to do more for them. Very disrespectful and offers no common courtesy. Will be updating my resume sooner than later.

Thanks for providing feedback. We couldn't agree more on the pros you shared. At CentralReach, our goal is to provide an open and collaborative relationship between management and employees. We value the opinions of our employees and want to ensure that all CR team members feel appreciated and have a voice within the company and with their respective managers. While we currently do not have the role of Senior Software Engineer in our Holmdel, NJ office, we take your feedback seriously and would like to encourage you to email your HR manager directly. Let's work through this together!

Pros

Very talented people on the therapy side

Cons

CentralReach invested in education platforms about two and a half years ago. In that time, the education department has had three different managers (with the most recent being the low point) and an absolute decline in culture and morale. They continually lay off employees with no warning and reason. They have laid off employees who were in their roles for 3 months and 5 months, never being given a real chance to succeed; they have laid off their top sales performer for the past three years; they have laid off employees who simply expressed concerns with the return to office policy and who questioned the idea of shifting to a more "in person" sales approach. I'm sure they will respond to this by saying personnel decisions like this are difficult, but that is hard to believe when they seemingly happen at random and every month. Those of us who were still on the team were left confused, directionless, and feeling no stability in our jobs. It is an awful culture to walk into everyday, and one that has no active plan on improving anytime soon. If you feel the need to apply, have a backup plan both before and after being hired.

Pros

Prepare to get dismissed at any time. Begin looking for a new job before the end of your 90-day term. They have every dumb reason in the book to terminate you. They fill unfilled positions from previous employers and work with arrogance. They will conduct numerous rounds of interviews before hiring you, but after terminating you, they will state that you were a bad hire. I feel that the leadership was a bad hire since they hired the wrong individuals and had to fire them. Workplace is deplorable.

Cons

Numerous IT firms may be found in the United States. You will be grateful that you were let go and may now work somewhere better.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. The decision to part ways with an employee is never taken lightly, but as we continue to strive to foster a workplace reflective of our core values, is sometimes necessary. We wish you the best of luck in the future.
