A challenging and rewarding place to work
Pros
FinancialForce.com hires people that work hard, work together, and work to get things done. They also foster a family environment, where volunteering is performed as a team, after work "fun" activities are planned, and you can work as hard as you want ... you get to choose how to balance your work family with your home family ;) It is also helpful that their office in San Francisco is easily accessible via public transport (located in the Financial District). They have also developed, and are actively selling, some leading products on the Salesforce .com platform (FFA and PSA) which customers are realizing the benefits from. This, combined with the backing of two larger companies, has resulted in great benefits and a rapidly growing company. Overall, I enjoy my work and the people I work with.
Cons
Some processes need to be refined and cross-team communication could be better, but this seems to be common in small, fast-paced companies.
