Second Shift Gets Treated Horribly

Pros

Management is good, second shift manager is very very good.

Cons

1. Second shift needs a set time to be out like every other department. Its not fair that the shipping department is there longer than any other department. 2. Ticket cut off time needs to be sooner. We always end up getting slammed and have to spend all hours of the night there. 3. Nobody ever helps us, but when other departments need help we have to jump for them. 4. We all need to certified or familiar with the equipment inside the warehouse.

Thank you for your review and your comments! I grew up working on the second shift, and I have felt the same frustration you feel today. In 20 years, we haven't figured out how to change our customers' buying habits, so we staff later and "get slammed" right at 4:30pm. I remember pulling some all-nighters myself. Hopefully our new website will help! I also agree with you that additional training on equipment is necessary and will help all employees to better their skills and capabilities. I am aware that your group is asked to volunteer in other departments on multiple occasions, and I personally appreciate your flexibility.
