Pros

From the interview/onboarding process to the employee culture, ChargePoint is an excellent place to work whether or not you're an experienced EV professional. The Director of People Operations (HR Director) takes her time in hiring people who bring added value to the overall company but also fit the company culture. When you get hired, the whole company comes together to offer you the support and resources you need to be successful. ChargePoint just moved into a brand new, state of the art facility and the open space design helps foster this inter-team interaction. The CEO sits outside with everyone and Upper Management is always available to you for any help you need!

Cons

No cons at all! If you get an interview, do your best to work here!

Pros

Hybrid Work Schedule, product has potential

Cons

ChargePoint fails to prioritize the importance of people in it's business strategy. Focusing 100% on profitability and product without strategic investment in the people who are responsible for business growth and delivering customer value. Sales commissions and compensation structures, career development, employee engagement, health and well being for employees do not seem to be seen as important levers to business success.... not sure how this company is going to make it if they don't invest in the people who build and sell product, directly support customers, and keep the business running. The expectation is constantly do more with less and do it well. The culture is not for everyone, little sense of identity or connection to core values - odd, low energy, somewhat unfriendly atmosphere.

Pros

The only pro is that you get to work from home.

Cons

Dishonest about the work and the salary. This is a company that will squeeze as much work out of you as much as possible while paying you pennies for the amount of work you do. In the customer support position you are a call center worker, a case manager, and a technical support specialist. On top of all that extra work you are micromanaged. You are not allowed to give feedback and suggestions on improvement. You are to just work as a robot. Also beware they will SPY on you. You are forced to have your webcam active at all times during your work days. It's not unlimited PTO it's a lie.
