Was with this company for almost 2 years and transitioned through 3 positions with totally different responsibilities throughout my time here. That was understood being that the company was a start up. However my last position (Crisis Care Coach) was by far the worst experience at any company. For months they discussed dissolving the position and pledging to work to accommodate us in other roles. Regardless of the fact that I had been there 2 years, licensed and held a master’s, I went through the hiring process for two different positions to stay with the company and did not get selected. I also applied for 3 other Bachelor’s level positions that I didn't even get a follow up for. The only opportunities I were given were to become an IC after being a salaried employee for almost 2 years. Please also note that as we were getting dissolved, they were making several changes to enhance the very crisis team that I was already on. My only assumption is that they were not willing to continue the role in a salary position and preferred offering it as an IC role, which had they been upfront about, maybe they would have been able to maintain employees. It was very disrespectful hearing they were considering the opinions and implementations of newer staff over the original crisis team that began this process. To say I was a well seasoned and accommodating employee for all changes thrown at me during my employment, I did not feel that was extended to me. Again I was only offered a position as an independent contractor that did not include benefits or insurance. They were working to enhance the crisis team and said nothing about accommodating me any further with the team in any way. So to be frank, it felt like a virtual slap in the face! THEY SHOWED ME FIRST HAND THEY DO NOT VALUE THEIR EMPLOYEES!
