Pros

Kind people who are working so hard and doing their best

Cons

Most incompetent leadership I have ever seen in my entire career Toxic, TOXIC, toxic environment Extreme micromanagement Completely unrealistic metrics and KPIs No empathy whatsoever for their employees Shame the people who work so hard for their company Leaders setting examples like it's ok to belittling potential candidates to internal teams publicly Backdoor references Shows little appreciation for all the hard work done by their employees So many more, do not waste your time; it is not worth your happiness

Strong Opportunities for Professional Development

Pros

There were tremendous opportunities for personal and professional development during my time at Charlie Health. More specifically, my supervisor allowed me autonomy, while also offering support and guidance when needed, which enabled me to evolve professionally - since Charlie Health is a fast-growing company, this quality of leadership was paramount. In addition to the fantastic leadership, my team members were deeply passionate about the company's mission. The team was committed to promoting diversity and inclusion, which was an important factor in my job search. From a benefits standpoint, Charlie Health offers a competitive salary, 401K plan and fertility services, which is unique for a startup.

Cons

The environment (like many startups) is super fast-paced. A good work ethic is held at a high standard and direct requests from top execs can come across as urgent and typically require immediate action, which might not suit everyone. If you're not eager to push yourself, this may not be the right fit.

Pros

From the moment I stepped into my role at Charlie Health, it was evident that this wasn't just any other job. The support I receive from my colleagues is unparalleled. It's a rare and special feeling to be constantly challenged and yet also constantly learning. What sets Charlie Health apart is the genuine impact of our work. Many companies boast of a mission, but here, it's palpable. Knowing that my daily efforts directly assist suicidal kids provides an unparalleled sense of purpose. The mission doesn't just drive results – it drives us as a team, making every project, every day, and every challenge worth it.

Cons

With the tremendous impact we aim to achieve, rapid growth is inevitable. This means adapting to changing processes, and I understand this might not be everyone's cup of tea. If someone isn't ready for a fast-paced environment, then perhaps Charlie Health might not be the right fit for them. As with any company, there are differing opinions, which are evident in the polarized reviews here. But Charlie Health doesn't claim to be perfect. It’s a work in progress. The young founders are not only adaptable but also receptive to feedback, creating a transparent and evolving work environment.
