Pros

Benefits and ability to work remote

Cons

Leadership Accessibility & Support: There is a notable lack of professional support from management. Training is frequently delegated to employees with limited tenure, leading to systemic knowledge gaps. Even when the company acknowledges these training deficiencies, the response is often to initiate performance management rather than providing the supplemental resources or coaching originally promised. Operational Intensity & Monitoring: The culture involves expectations for 'always-on' video connectivity, which can feel like micromanagement. Sourcing metrics are exceptionally high and rigid; these targets do not scale for approved time off or mandatory work trips. This creates an environment where staff may feel significant pressure to remain active during earned PTO to meet "set-in-stone" expectations. Internal Culture & Professionalism: The workplace environment can feel exclusionary, with internal communications often shifting toward social cliques and personal appearance rather than professional objectives. This "hustle culture" can discourage team collaboration and leads to high levels of burnout. Compensation & Benefit Transparency: There is a lack of clarity regarding realistic bonus attainment rates. Additionally, prospective hires should be aware of restrictive policies regarding the payout of accrued benefits for those who depart before a one-year anniversary. Retention & Performance Management: The company utilizes a high-attrition model with a heavy reliance on standardized performance management tools. This creates a high-pressure atmosphere that can be degrading to long-term morale and does not seem to reflect the mental health values the company promotes externally.

Pros

The starting pay and pto and office atmosphere is cool.

Cons

Management is chaotic and unprofessional, with reactive communication and poor emotional regulation. Certain managers lack basic people-management skills, often responding defensively instead of addressing issues constructively. Even when mistakes are acknowledged, accountability is deflected back onto employees rather than resolved. This environment discourages open communication and actively blocks internal growth, as leadership has been known to sabotage opportunities for employees seeking advancement or transfers.

Pros

I worked at CH for 1 year, and they failed to inform me when I got hired that they don't offer clinical supervision to part-time therapists. So, imagine working with them for one year, doing 250+ clinical sessions with clients that won't count towards my LCSW licensure. The first meeting I had with my clinical supervisor, she told me '' I don't sign off on clinical hours CH is working with an external program for that''. My time was wasted, and they lied to get me in. I have been asking for adequate supervision since I started working there, and I was being ignored and avoided. This company, management, and even my clinical director were misleading me. They will say whatever they can to get you in and overpromise care to patients when they don't have the providers to provide the treatment. They only seem to care about numbers, billing clients, and profit. I have had clients complain about the unethical behaviors happening in the group therapy sessions, which were appalling to me. If you are serious about getting your clinical hours, need quality supervision, and a place where you can learn and grow without lies, deceit, and curveballs, please do not accept a position here. They will tell you one thing and waste your time. Charlie Health was traumatizing for me at this stage of my career, and I will not suggest anyone work here. You deserve better. I have racked up 250+ clinical hours that won't even count towards my full licensure because of this place. They don't value POC therapists, and that's very clear.

Cons

Misleading, lack of transparency, disorganized, high turnover, lying to clients and clinicians.
