Pros

Co-workers are committed to the mission and kind, smart people to work with. Unfortunately, many get pushed out or leave on their own due to the culture.

Cons

Scroll past some of the "positive" reviews to read the truth from clinicians and non-clinical staff. This is not a working environment that cares about its employees. You have to fight tooth and nail to be heard and acknowledged. Far more time is spent rooting out "poor" performers (as determined by metrics, metrics, and more metrics) than rewarding top performers. Leadership is un-apologetic about banker-like culture even though this is ultimately a mental health, and healthcare, company. Non-Clinical staff are likely too scared to review on Glassdoor and/or don't want their equity to be worth less. Check out LinkedIn to see the truth in high churn for both corporate and clinical employees.

Pros

They drive to focus & prioritize the needs of clients when necessary.

Cons

Very toxic ! They micromanage everything even of the most minor of things. The supervisors will purposely log into your group sessions just to pretend like they are doing a random thing meanwhile it’s their way of micromanaging you. The supervisor will advise you in a private 1 on 1 but publicly sabotage you for the sake of keeping their current position. They have a VERY HIGH turn over rate and after my experience it makes sense why they have a long history of high turn overs. Luckily for me I left at a perfect timing. This is a VERY racist company! It’s insane they push for equal opportunity yet they treat people less of what they deserve to be treated. They do not value equality as they push. One of the WORST COMPANIES to work for! I highly recommend you RUN and save yourself the time.

Pros

Company started with very strong commitment to values and quality care. Executive leadership is actually pretty awesome. The heart of the leaders were in the right place when we got started. Likes to innovate and try new things. Started out as a really creative and cutting edge place to work. I love the vision of their business and their hopes to help people.

Cons

The execution of this business is a tragedy. Completely toxic, gossip centered work environment. High level leadership has secret zoom meetings all the time discussing employees personal business. They are constantly disparaging of employees work and are not strength based in their approach to leadership. The gossip and harassment is even present in their HR department, so really no where is safe to report when you are being harassed and need help. The mental wellness of myself and many of my coworkers was negatively impacted by this workplace. Unrealistic work life family expectations. When ever you receive “feedback” for improvement it almost always came with coaching that time commitment was not high enough despite giving 50-60 hours weekly. Coaching was also directed at manipulating subordinates against each other to attempt to drive production. Which creates a really isolating environment in small teams. Business is always reactively changing goals and initiatives on almost a monthly basis. Very poor focus on core programming and objectives because they are always rolling something new out, therefor nothing is ever well executed. Unclear and inconsistent communication amongst departments and employees. Systems in the business run very ineffectively it’s very difficult to understand how to get any kind of help whether IT support, coaching, or collaboration. You’re basically on your own for everything. As with most startups, too much growth too fast. Constantly changing individual project objectives. Ever increasing responsibilities to take over but no incentive or discussion with pay rate increases. Very difficult to negotiate pay changes or promotion despite work volume and responsibilities exponentially increasing. Significant pay discrepancies among team members completing comparable work in the same roles. Very poor environment for feedback and coaching. Never received coaching on professional goals. Did not receive project delegation in areas of growth interest. Associates are used and abused for tedious projects and are underutilized in operational development despiteassociates having the strongest understanding of direct operations. Absolutely no interest in leadership development internally. No training or support for middle management. Instead this level of leadership is harshly vilified and leads to exacting trickle down fueling the toxicity. Does not promote internally is always looking for a better external candidate. External candidates ultimately turn over quickly leaving teams directionless.
